I'm with Chloe - much as I like lambs, I prefer calves and cows :-) I'm looking forward to Harry's blogpost from Balmoral.

Bluestone Break

Written by Nik Dart on Sunday, 27 November 2011. Posted in South Wales

Bluestone Break

We had a lovely outdoor long weekend recently at Bluestone, a resort in Narberth (near Tenby) that offers the fun of camping without having to camp.... only in November as we'd camp otherwise!

Bluestone is great for families and if you stay on resort you get unlimited access to the Blue Lagoon pool. As you can see from the photos, there is also the beach in Tenby which is a lovely resort with lots of child-friendly places to eat (I recommend Blueberrys in the middle of town - good highchairs, colouring pencils and a child's menu).

log cabin

There is a great indoor playcentre on site too and lots of outdoor activities including a campfire meal and archery and kayaking and lots more!

on my trike

The resort is car-free (except for unloading/loading and disabled) so I was able to spend some time on my smart trike, biking around the lake! My Spotty Otter gear came in very handy when it was frosty in the mornings too!
