Did Somebody Say Snow?

Did Somebody Say Snow?

I've just seen that there's snow forecast for our part of the world this weekend and was so excited that I thought I'd share some pictures from the last time we had snow, just before Christmas.

We only got a couple of inches, but it was enough to make Orla squeal with excitement as she ran out into the park. As we were the first out we got to run around and leave footprints in the fresh snow, and Orla got to slide down the snow-covered slide. She especially liked crashing into all of the snow at the bottom.

Unfortunately the snow quickly turned to rain, leaving just enough time to throw a few snowballs at Daddy before heading inside to dry off.

Reuben was very disappointed that the snow had already started turning to slush by the time he got home from school. Here's hoping we all get to go out and build snowmen on Sunday.
