I'm with Chloe - much as I like lambs, I prefer calves and cows :-) I'm looking forward to Harry's blogpost from Balmoral.

Fantastic idea! Biscuits, otters, sharks, sea-horses and obstacles, what more could a Little Trekkers ask for?

Dinosaurs Hiding in the Gardens

I’ve noticed a bit of theme developing on the Little Trekkers Ambassadors blog – dinosaurs! We didn’t want to be left out so here’s our local dinosaur spotting opportunity.

Our nearest ‘Day Out’ is Knebworth House and we have season tickets so go for a day or hour as it suits. Knebworth House has been host to all sorts of bands over the years from Queen in 1986 to Red Hot Chili Peppers in June 2012. But did you also know that it is host to a band of dinosaurs?

Knebworth House

Hidden away in the gardens is the Tyrannosaurus Rex and his mates. The children (and any visiting children) love going to look at them and I’m happy as I get to walk through the lovely gardens.

Once we’ve renewed our acquaintance with ‘allsortsofsaurus’, then the children won’t let us leave until they’ve visited Knebworth fort. The fort has been a favourite with local children for years and I remember going there as a child. It’s a fantastic place to climb ladders, towers, cargo nets and whizz down slides.

Dinosaurs AND a fort - Harry would definitely love that!

It has endless fascination for all children...and the best thing is that they wear themselves out. There's also a little train ride but apparently it's the last year for that. Boo!
