Hand Me Downs
Well poor Torrin as child no two suffers from hand me down syndrome. It’s tricky as a parent, clothes are not cheap and quite often Finlay has grown out of his stuff before he wrecks it. Poor little Torrin is very stoical but is often upset when new clothes come through the post and Finlay gets them first. So it was with great pleasure that I decided the next lot of little trekkers kit should be his. In fact he needed new shoes as the sole had started to fall off his current ones.
Well here is a photo of the proud boy in shiny blue waterproofs from Spotty Otter and lovely new Meindl shoes. We have bought both brands of kit in the past and are very pleased with how it lasts. In fact the shoes that have just gone to holes are Meindl and have lasted 1.5 boys. They wear them constantly for school and mini adventures so it was a no brainer not to get a replacement set.
We are looking forward to the next wet day to get the full waterproofs on and see how they perform, on the west coast I am sure we won’t have long to wait!
