In Search of the Perfect Tree!

In Search of the Perfect Tree!

It's December, it's Baltic and we've had our first flurry of snow last week... It must be almost Christmas time!! On Saturday morning Team Thompson layered up with their winter woollies (p.s. Little Trekkers, Libby is loving her toasty warm and incredibly stylish pink fleece-lined Spotty Otter jacket!) and headed off to meet Nana and Pappy for a Christmas Tree hunt...

Some were too small, some were too tall... some were too thin and some were too bushy. At last Isaac spotted the perfect one - I suspect he thought it would be a potentially good climbing frame! Libby helped Nana and Pappy to pick their tree too and after the haggling was done (an annual ritual with Rob 'the tree man') we loaded up Pappy's trailer and headed home.

Now we're planning to light the fire tonight and start the decorating... Can't wait to see it fully dressed and twinkling in the corner of the room. Merry Christmas!

We also chose our Christmas tree this weekend.
And we are also loving our pink, fleece lined Spotty Otter coat.
Not to mention that Issac's hat is rather stylish too.
