Lac de Rille by Day, Thunderstorm by Night.

Lac de Rille was a lovely spot for a picnic in the forest clearing. The boys happily played in the sand and the lake.

The weather was nice and sunny although it later changed and we found ourselves camping in a thunderstorm.

a walk through the woods

We were woken in the night by heavy rain, the crash of thunder and lightning illuminating the tent. I have to admit it was quite frightening. Thankfully our Outwell Montana 6 tent stood up to the storm.

Hopefully there wont be a repeat, don't think my nerves could stand it!

The lake looks amazing. What a beautiful place to camp.
And the camping trips my girls remember the best are the ones with the storms!
