Life’s a Beach

Life’s a Beach

We have just come back from a very rainy two weeks in the UK. So while the rest of the country was watching Andy Murray in the final, we weren’t about to pass up the opportunity of a rare break in the clouds and headed for Bournemouth beach.

There is only one thing better than a great beach, a great deserted beach!

Arlo wasted no time in testing the water. I’d like to point out that I was in a jumper and raincoat at this point, but Arlo is made of hardier stuff (I knew there were some British genes in there somewhere!) He very quickly dispatched with his rather soggy shorts after the obligatory run away from the waves tumble, and spent the next half an hour happily frolicking along the shoreline. Happy Days ☺

Do you have a great beach near you? We’d love to hear about it!

Amy - I've planned a blog about a similar underpant-clad (children-only, I should reassure you!)paddling adventure we had on our local (usually deserted) beach back in April on the South end of the Ards Peninsula in Northern Ireland, although Arlo's legs are much cuter than Harry's sticks!
