Wow! What a treat! Well done getting such a good photo despite the excited toddler!

I'm with Chloe - much as I like lambs, I prefer calves and cows :-) I'm looking forward to Harry's blogpost from Balmoral.

Fantastic idea! Biscuits, otters, sharks, sea-horses and obstacles, what more could a Little Trekkers ask for?

Our Favourite Autumn Game

Written by Amy Bloodworth on Saturday, 03 December 2011. Posted in Europe

Our Favourite Autumn Game

Autumn has been long and lovely here in Italy. Our favourite game this autumn has been a special version of hide and seek.

I sweep all the leaves in the garden into a big pile and hide a variety of Arlo’s toys in it, then, he has to find them!

Hunting for toys in the garden

Arlo’s favourite items to seek are pieces of plastic play food.

Note:

This game only works well in dog poop free areas! So your own garden or any enclosed children’s park with trees is perfect. Don’t forget to have a quick check for any sleeping hedgehogs as well!

    What a fabulous idea Amy.'
We are coming to end of 'leaf season and the start of 'snow' season, but I will have to remember it for next year.
