Surfing Paradise
Just wanted to share some of our great holiday moments before we are all back at work and have forgotten them. We have just returned from over a fortnight camping in the coastal Pyrenees area of France not far from the border with Spain.
The weather and beaches were glorious and fantastic for surfing. We were careful to pick the ‘Life Guarded’ beaches and always swam in the flagged area. Joshua and Sasha now have a body board each and spent hours surfing the smaller waves. They did make us smile when they took their goggles to keep the salty water out of their eyes, not quite the ‘surfer look’!
Later in the holiday we were watching a film of some professional surfers doing jumps, tricks and surfing in the tube when Joshua looked across and said with great sincerity, “I need to practise more so I can do that!”
Unfortunately as I pointed out to him we live about as far from the sea as you can get in the UK so he wouldn’t get in much practise and that perhaps he should choose a different sport!

Wow! What great photos! Sounds like you had a great time and Joshua and Sasha look like real professionals!
