Wow! What a treat! Well done getting such a good photo despite the excited toddler!

I'm with Chloe - much as I like lambs, I prefer calves and cows :-) I'm looking forward to Harry's blogpost from Balmoral.

Fantastic idea! Biscuits, otters, sharks, sea-horses and obstacles, what more could a Little Trekkers ask for?

The Perfect Shoes

The Perfect Shoes

At even the slightest hint of sunshine the Teva hurricane shoes come out. When you are two years old there is nothing, and I mean nothing, more exciting than having a pair of shoes with dinosaurs on!

They are the perfect shoes for skimming stones in. Ok, so if you’re two, you don’t actually skim stones. You throw them vigorously in the hope of creating a giant splosh and inevitably lunge forwards into the water upon execution of the throw.

Not a problem, these shoes love water. Arlo has even perfected the art of drying them out. It’s really very simple; you find a swing with a beautiful view and get your mum or dad push you for the next 20 minutes. The rush of wind over the shoes dries them out in no time. To speed up the drying process you may want to undo the Velcro a little as well.

If you are wondering about Arlo’s new hairstyle, he decided that the front was getting a little long and took matters into his own hands last week! We may have the perfect shoes but I fear the perfect toddler is an elusive creature!

This has had the Little Trekkers office in stitches, I love that Arlo decided to give himself a haircut! I'm sure it'll grow back soon, in the meantime I think it adds character!
