Daisy and Rufus indulging in their favourite past time of collecting "balls" from the beach on the Island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, where we spend a lot of our holiday time. The next picture shows then indulging in their second favourite past time of playing with seaweed, this time on the neighbouring island of Berneray. Their long suffering mother takes them for a wind swept walk back on North Uist. The Outer Hebrides around New Year is a cold, wet, windy (and yet exhilarating) place. The Rukka jackets and dungarees allow us to take the children out into an environment that would otherwise be closed to us |
