Looking for the Best Sand for Sandcastles

Me and Squid love making sandcastles. We always fill our bucket with the wet sand from close to the sea because we think that makes the best sandcastles.

Dad told us some scientists had done some experiments to find out where the best sand was to build sandcastles.

They spent weeks and weeks going round the country making sandcastles and measuring the grains of sand. In the end they said that Torquay was the best place as it had small grains of sand less than 0.15mm big. When I grow up I want to be a scientist, then I can make sandcastles all day too.

Where's your favourite place to build sandcastles?
