Congratulations Alfie on conquering your first hill, even if you had a little help from daddy. Soon you will be climbing Mount Everest!

Dumyat

Posted in Spring Summer 2011 Photo Competition Entries, UK, Mainland Scotland

Hi Trekkers, my daddy took me up my first hill yesterday.

We scaled the Dumyat which sits at a height of 418 metres. I managed the first half hour all by myself but then i had to get a little help from daddy.

There were lots of muddy puddles on the way, which I loved splashing in, and my Spotty Otter suit kept me from getting wet. Some of the climb was quite rocky but we managed and were rewarded with a nice picnic when we got to the top.

Top of the hill

There were lost of sheep but they didn’t wave back to me, hopefully they will next time.

I had lots of fun on my first hill and cant wait to do it again, hopefully with mummy as well.

Alfie (3.5 years old)
