Little Trekkers Kite Making!

Little Trekkers Kite Making! We received our first bag of goodies this week - thank you very much!.... and once the excitement of new shoes was over the next major decision was what to do with some great Spotty Otter stickers that came with it. I happened to mention I had seen some instructions for kite making and that was it. Mathilda didn't stop nagging me every day until on Sunday we printed off the instructions and got constructing. The stickers were great for decorating the kite and making it look "really pretty"!!The kite looked really impressive but unfortunately on its maiden flight there were a few teething problems and it spun around and around. We think we have a solution to this so will be making some amendments and re testing this weekend if there is some wind so we'll let you know how we go. Have you tried making the kite from your Little Trekkers bag?!!? The best thing I told Mathilda is that if the kite goes down and we lose it, it'll biodegrade within 18 months so no major worries. It is really easy to make so I would definitely recommend having a go! Written by Joanne Watterson on Thursday, 28 June 2012.
